High Impact, Low Maintenance Landscaping
We use Super Thrive and Aqua Smart for fast plant establishment!
As landscapers with more than 25 years of experience landscaping in Austin, our landscapes begin with communication, creative landscape design and garden design, and carefully drafted plans. Beyond the design phase, we are skilled and equipped for the installation of lawns, gardens, trees, plants, flower gardens, natural rock features, water features and ponds, french drains and other drainage systems. Patio and terrace materials include rock and stone, brick, and concrete. High quality masonry is a hallmark of our work, and our landscapes often include hardscape features like patios, firepits, terraces, steps and ramps, rock walls, fireplaces, driveways, walkways, arbors, walkways, stepping stones and retaining walls.
In Austin, stone and rock are always popular materials. So at Landcraft, we are very familiar with limestone, granite, flagstone, slate, sandstone, as well as decomposed granite, fieldstone, granite pavers, and brick for patio and other surfaces to add just the right color and texture. Of course shrubs, ground covers, trees, flowering species, and drought tolerant and deer resistant plants like cactus add their own unique colors and textures. The finishing touch is always well designed landscape lighting, perfect for entrances, high-impact curb-appeal landscaping, and for outdoor entertainment areas.
Irrigation for backyards, front yards, entrances, gardens and pool areas can include different types of lawn sprinklers and garden irrigation and for watering specific trees as well as flower beds and ground cover. We use only the highest quality sprinkler heads, valves, and automatic controls, and we design the irrigation systems for each of our landscapes with carefully balanced zones for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
In Central Texas, many native species like oak trees need little irrigation after they have developed strong root systems, so native species are always good choices for low maintenance landscaping. Whether your tastes lean toward a xeriscape populated by native plants and trees, more traditional landscaping, or you desire a custom designed water garden complete with specialized plants, filtration and lighting, we have the creativity, skills, and experience to exceed your expectations. There is never any fee for our first consultation, and we would love to be your landscape designer as well as the landscape contractor completing the installation.
